    Is Gringo Salsa GMO-free?

    Yes. All our our produce and the corn used in our Tortilla Strips are certified GMO-free - no genetically modified ingredients.

    Is Gringo Salsa part of any tomato recalls?

    No. 

    Rest assured that our product is NOT part of any tomato recall.  Our product is fully cooked. Our tomatoes are aseptically packed at the time of harvest (which in the case of what we are using now was last year).  For us, this year’s crop is not yet Ripe and ready to harvest. 

    For clarity’s sake, The definition of “aseptic”:

    aseptic  ( -s p t k,  -s p t k)
    Free of microorganisms that cause disease.

    You‘ll find Green Mountain Gringo Salsa & Tortilla Strips in many Natural, Health and Specialty Food stores. We are also in numerous grocery stores.
